I’ve heard this song possibly a million times over thirteen years, and only yesterday did I learn that Kim Deal’s background vocals toward the end are spelling out the name of the song!

It’s been really cool to live in NYC and see/hear/feel all the respect for MCA. 

Also! The best part of this song is when it gets quiet in the middle and then the bass solo starts — he slides that note up and plays that sick riff.

So good. So sad.
